How to remove scale? Based on years of product development experience, we will introduce several common and effective methods for removing scale:
1. Vinegar descaling
This method is the simplest and most practical method. We all know that the main component of scale is calcium carbonate and other carbonates, and the acetic acid in vinegar will react with it to produce water-soluble minerals and carbon dioxide gas. You can buy white vinegar, put 10% white vinegar on the scale of the kettle, then fill it with water, boil it for about an hour, and then brush it.
2. Descale by boiling potatoes in an electric kettle
In the new interior, put more than half a kettle of potato, fill it with water, cook the potato, and then boil the water later, there will be no scale accumulation. But be careful not to scrub the inner wall after boiling the potato in the kettle, otherwise the descaling effect will be lost. For the old kettle that has been full of scale, after boiling once or twice with the above method, not only the original scale will gradually fall off, but also it can prevent further scale accumulation.
3. Baking soda to remove limescale
Generally, the heating plate of the electric kettle is made of aluminum. When the electric kettle boils water, it is easy to form scale. Generally, we can put 1 teaspoon of baking soda, boil it for a few minutes, and the scale will be removed. Or you can pour about 500 grams of baking soda water with a concentration of 1%, shake it gently, and the scale can be removed.
4. Boiled eggs to remove limescale
In general electric kettles, the scale is hard and hard to remove after using it for a long time. If you use it to cook eggs twice, you will get ideal results. Break the two egg shells slightly, put them in a bottle, and then put half a pot of water. Stir with a mixer or a spoon, then boil, let it sit for about half an hour, pour out the eggshell, and rinse it twice with clean water.
