What is the problem with the electric kettle not boiling water?

1. It may be caused by the thick scale of the electric kettle. The excessively thick scale is not only difficult to conduct heat, causing the temperature inside the heater to be high, but it cannot boil the water, which will not only increase the power consumption, but also directly affect the service life of the electric kettle. Therefore, after the electric kettle is used for a period of time, the scale of the electric kettle must be removed in time to avoid the problem that the water cannot be boiled.

2. It may also be caused by damage to the temperature control switch installed at or near the bottom of the electric kettle. When the kettle is disassembled, it can be seen that it is cylindrical in shape, with an outgoing set screw mounting hole on both sides, and two connecting wires on it. After disassembly, the words 110°C or 105°C can be seen on the surface. Such thermostats are sold at general appliance parts stores or appliance repair shops. When purchasing, you must purchase the same product as the original, not higher or lower than the original temperature value. Otherwise, it will automatically cut off the power before the water is turned on, or it will keep burning after the water is turned on.

3. Other common situations are low voltage, poor contact, etc. If there is poor contact between the base and the power plug socket of the electric kettle body, you can first remove the oxide layer and dirt on the contact piece, then correct its shape and make the contact tight again.

What is the problem that the electric kettle cannot boil water? When such problems occur in the electric kettle, we need to solve it in time so that the use of the electric kettle can return to normal.
