Modern technology is developing more and more rapidly, and we use more and more types of electrical appliances, and electric kettles are a common one. Generally, electric kettles are composed of a kettle body and a base. Once the electric kettle base fails, the electric kettle will not be able to be used. So, when the electric kettle base fails, how do we repair it? Let's learn together.
Electric kettle base repair method
1. When using an electric kettle, if you find that the bottom of the kettle is broken, please do not use it. Be sure to repair it before using it. Dry the water first, so that there are no water droplets in it that will cause the metal parts to rust, otherwise it will cause poor contact.
2. Drain the water with a soft cloth or toilet paper, put it in a ventilated place or dry it with a hair dryer. Use a multimeter to measure the resistance between the base plugs, and the resistance value should not be less than 1 megohm.
3. You can use a multimeter to check the wires at both ends of the heating tube to see if there is any resistance. If there is no resistance, the electric heating tube is faulty. Generally speaking, if the electric heating tube is broken, it can only be used normally by replacing it with a new one.
